Iowans are first in the
nation to take a stand in national politics.
Now it's time to
stand for culture and quality of life in Iowa at the Cultural
Caucus on November 8th.
Make a stand in
your area's regional caucus, then join the cultural party in Des Moines.

What
is a Cultural Caucus?
The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs works with constituents throughout the
state to help shape the cultural environment in which Iowans
wish to live.
The Cultural Caucus starts
as a series of regional caucuses where Iowans discuss issues
that effect their everyday quality of life, concerns and ideas. At each regional
caucus delegates are elected to attend
the statewide Cultural Caucus and public celebration and rally
in Des Moines.
At the Cultural Caucus,
delegates share the ideas & issues identified by their peers to discuss, shape
and refine the overall cultural picture of Iowa. They "Imagine Iowa"
and the results are a cultural agenda that is incorporated into
the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs' long-term plan referred to as "Imagine
Iowa: 2010."
